BRIAN SETZER is preparing a stint with his new trio titled the '68 COMEBACK SPECIAL to take on a nationwide summer tour.

The new group is not unlike the former band STRAY CATS, frequently credit in reviving rockabilly music in the mid 80's. '68 COMEBACK SPECIAL's debut release titled "Ignition" is scheduled to be released June 12 on Surfdog Records.

The national tour will start three days later beginning at a winery in Saratoga, California.

The trio is scheduled to appear on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, June 14 and on Late Night With Conan O'Brien, July 12.
