FAVOURITE To Depart From JOHNNY FAVOURITE SWING ORCHESTRA


According to a recent release on the band's web site Johnny Favourite announced his departure from the Johnny Favourite Swing Orchestra after the group's performance February 11th, 2000, in Halifax at the World Trade and Convention Centre. He announced that he will "no longer tour or record with the other members of the [band]". Favourite said this decision is based on the groupís "increasingly incompatible and diverging visions". Johnny Favourite is presently writing music for his next big band recording.
