Former Swing DJ Killed By San Diego Police


SAN DIEGO, CA - Jacob Faust a former swing DJ and dancer was critically wounded by a San Diego Police Officer during a routine traffic stop yesterday. Faust was stopped for making an illegal turn, and driving on a suspended license. A police officer opened fire on him when he reached for a toy gun he used for puppet shows. He was taken the hospital and died an hour later. Faust was 25 years old.

Faust's credits include deejaying the 2001 Los Angeles/Orange County Lindy Exchange, and the 2002 Lindy Binge. He was an accomplished Balboa and Lindy Hop dancer.
