RUTH BROWN Hospitalized With Breathing Problems

LAS VEGAS, NV -- Ruth Brown, who was scheduled to be one of the headlining acts for the annual rockabilly and rock and roll music festival Viva Las Vegas, cancelled due to her being hospitalized with reported breathing problems.
Another headlining act, Frankie Ford, known for his 1950s hit "Seacruise" asked the audience to pray for Ruth Brown and say some "Ave Marias".
Ruth Brown is best known for her 1950s R&B hits like "Mama He Treats Your Daughter Mean" and "Lucky Lips".
